Curriculum Information – Spring Term 2020
This half term we will be exploring fairy tales. We will be writing some of our favourite tales such as Little Red Riding Hood, Jack in the Beanstalk and The Enormous Turnip. We will be focusing a lot this half term on making sure we are using a range of punctuation, conjunctions, time connectives and adjectives.
Over the next half-term, the children will be learning about multiplication and division. The children will explore repeated addition and then link this to multiplication calculations. The children will use arrays to support their finding of the answers.
The class will be learning some Key Recall facts over the half term. They will recognise and identify the place value of a 2- digit number, adding two 2 digit numbers, subtracting 2 digit numbers, recall multiplication facts for 5x and 10x and 3x tables and double numbers to 20.
